supposedly 60 days after purchase they unlock the sim card capabilities in the phone, so after that time you should be able to transfer it to at&t

If you can find a storm that is GSM you can, The Verizon (NYSE: VZ) one will not be eligible to use with AT&T as they use CDMA. You won't be able to use 3G though as unlocked phone cannot use the internet/send picture messages because it has to connect to the internet to do both of those.

& the chances of going nationwide with every carrier is very slim as this phone is supposed to help Verizon. Its like the Black Berry Bold which you can only get with AT&T.
