I lost my phone at a big concert event over the weekend and purchased a used HTC Touch Pro, only to have my old (very boring) phone returned to me today. I already love the HTC phone, but I am confused with a few things. If I put it on my plan, will I have to upgrade (what if I don't need the internet on it? Does it have to have a smart plan?). Also, if I do switch it - I currently have 4 phones on a family plan with 3000 shared minutes, 1 phone has 400 texts a month and we're paying over $200/mo with taxes and fees. Can I switch all 4 phones to the smartplan for any cheaper than that, with 300 minutes? And our contract is up in March, would it still be up then or would it sign us on for another 2yrs? I am so confused and got different answers from the customer service people who were all foreign. Help!
