I bought a multi-function printer with fax for my business and it didn't send or receive faxes, even though I could hear ringing on the other end, a typical loud squeel or 'BEEP' to indicate a fax initiation and then nothing but error messages. After exhaustive efforts I have found it is down to the 3G Optus (Sagem RL302) (wireless) network being unable to transmit fax signals. This is a serious issue for those who need such telecommunications. I alert all potential purchasers of this product to consider their requirements before they dive into the 3G (and maybe other) wireless network/s. The available literature by Optus states you can fax, but calls to Technical Support show faxing is not supported. Buyer beware!
