Samsung Propel won't Vibrate!?

Well, i got a Samsung Propel, brand new, but i have it set to vibrate under the settings, under silent profile. But it still won't vibrate!!! It's frankly annoying me since i missed so many calls since i ALWAYS have calling and texting on vibrate on my old phone. I personally don't like to have it on ring. And in other vibrate functions, with ring, it still won't, i've felt it virbate twice out of the many times i've recieved text messages or calls. Please help!!
