| I have found a mobile phone, it has no SIM. If I put in a new SIM and call up the pre pay company to get a new number can I use the phone? How do I find out who the phone belongs to, there are no details in it, presumably deleted by whoever took the SIM out. It has GPS tracking on it, although I don't now if this has been activated (Samsung U600) not sure how to tell. Anyone more experience in these matters? |

| If there is no information on the phone, like a provider, contacts, etc. I guess there is no way to return it to its rightful owner. You would need to find out if the phone is unlocked before you can use any prepay SIM card in it, unless you happen to know the provider. Good chance that the phone is locked. Please try to return it to the owner if you can. I know if I lost my phone, I would love to have it returned to me.
