Default Can I unlock an Iphone from the US and use it in Japan?
I'm stationed in Japan and want an Iphone, but the phones out here are 3 times as expensive. I was thinking about purchasing one online from the states and trying to unlock it and use it out here with the SIM card I have with my Japanese cell phone carrier (softbank). Does anybody know if this is possible or if it is possible, if it will cost a lot more per month (due to charges since it's from the US)?
