Sony ericsson W890i Problems?

Hello there,im wondering if someone could help me,My sony has started restarting itself and red light comes on,Ive tried to use the sony update service but it wont work as its supposed to,I wondered if anyone has some ideas on how i can get the latest firmware without being able to use the update service programme?
Ok so i managed to connect my phone to the software updater and it says i have the current software etc,so why does it keep switching itself off then?
