sony ericsson problem?

i had bought a new mobile(sony ericsson) some 3 weeks ago. suddenly i hav a problem with my memory card. whenever i insert it into my mobile ,mobile is getting switched off. but when the same card is inserted in some other mobile it works properly...also other memory cards are working properly in my mobile....so is this a problem with my mobile or memory card...please give an answer with an explanation
