problems with Sony Ericsson W850i internet o2?

Trying to fix the internet connection on an O2 (NYSE: TEF) W850i. It displays google, but when you wish to view a different web page, it asks for an account profile, and I am not sure what this refers to. O2 site was very unhelpful.
