Is it possible to block private numbers from calling my sprint cell phone?

i dont know who it is but i have someone calling my phone every hour on the hour from a blocked number, they let it ring once and then hang up, i dont even get to pick it up before they are gone! and my brother is getting blocked calls from people, he doesnt answer, then has a voice mail saying someone will kill him they know what his car looks like and they are gonna f*** him up! is there a way to block these phone calls???? if not i know someone told me to go to the police, but how would they track a blocked number????? does anyone know???

yes its possible. Contact your Sprint (NYSE: S) store and they should be able to figure out the number and block it. worse comes to worse they'll just give u a new number.

I have verizion and they told me there was no way to block a private number from calling a cell phone only unblocked numbers. Sounds like someone you know jerking you and your brothers chain.
