how do i block incoming call marked private from coming in on my sprint cell phone?

I keep getting incoming calls on my cell phone marked private and i would like to know whose calling me so i would like to block them does anyone know how i can do this Sprint (NYSE: S) costumer service said it can not be done

Normally, there are *numbers for things like blocking your number from being displayed, etc. but there isn't one for blocking private numbers. If they can't do it either via the network, then it would have to be a feature of the phone you have. If that isn't a feature the phone has, then you're out of luck. You can put your contacts into a group or several groups and assign them a ringtone. If you don't hear that (those) ringtone (s) then you can just ignore the call without even looking at the phone to see who's calling.
