How much does it cost to get a disconnected Sprint cell phone reconnected?

I'm helping someone who's having trouble with his bills. His Sprint (NYSE: S) bill was just disconnected for non-payment. I'm going to pay for him to get it reconnected, but I understand there is a reconnection fee. Anyone know how much it is? He's on the $125 spending limit plan.

When I used to sell Sprint (NYSE: S) phones, the activation fee was $36. I don't believe it has changed since then but, it might have actually went down to $30. Also, I would take a look at his current plan and see how long he has left on his contract. I would consider paying the $150 fee to terminate a contract early. If he is unable to keep up and pay his monthly fee, it might be cheaper in the long run to just terminate. Especially if he is on a plan that he cannot afford or he goes over minutes every month. Take a look at some of his old bills and check his calling.

To reconnect a suspended phone it is $25 that will appear on his next bill.
