What is a good cheap cell phone for Sprint?

I "bought" a new phone this week from the Sprint (NYSE: S) website (i265 Motorola). Not only was I unaware that it is actually for Nextel (and had to change my plan to accommodate my Nextel phone and my family's Sprint phones), the phone is the biggest piece of junk I have ever used. I am looking to actually upgrade my phone this time. It's quite sad that I ended up downgrading to a more recent phone from a phone I got over 4 years ago. Anyway, the requirements I have for this phone are it must have an alarm clock, also a calendar that reminds me of events through an alarm and it must be CHEAP, I don't have much money. I don't know if it is Nextel or my phone, but I have not been receiving any of my text messages or voice messages. I never had that problem with my old phone. So any ideas?

i have picture phone small one cost 50.00 after the 160 they offer you and then i sent in for the 50.00 and got it free. nothing fancy and it out lasts both my kids already. it is a samsun 300comes in red or black
