Whats better for data services: T-Mobile or AT&T?

I know AT&T has 3G coverage, including in my area, but I believe T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) is offering 3G soon and their data services are supposed to be faster than AT&T when it's all said and done, but not positive on this.

AT&T or T-mobile? What's your pick.
