Default If I add a line to an existing T-Mobile Family Plan, do I have to extend my contract?

My parents started the contract in June of 2006. In July of 2007, I wanted a phone so they added me to their plan. So, will our contract expire in June of 2008 or July of 2009 because of my phone?
