Nokia, Motorola, and Samsung. There is more than one company who makes the phones.

We have T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) service (since it was Voicestream years ago). They don't 'make' the phones...they have many options, though. Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, etc. The service is 'okay'...but its the cheapest I've found. I see that POCKET and KRICKET are 2 new 'cheap' cellular companies trying to make it out there.

The cellphones can be anything, Nokia, Siemens, Sony Erikson. You have to differentiate service provider and the cellphone. You need both in order to make a call.
