...t-mobile cell plan? I've heard rumors that you can buy a prepaid cell phone (which are generally a lot cheaper and don't require contract extensions) and use it if you have a regular cell phone agreement. Is this true? I'd like to save money and not sign away the next 2 years of my life to get a working phone (mine broke last night ), but don't want to waste money if it's not true.
Any ideas?

My son has a prepay phone for his regular contract T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) plan and it works just fine.

Probably not the company would loose money so it wouldn't be a good deal for them

you can buy a prepaid phone and use it with a contract plan my sidekick2 broke so i bought a prepaid Nokia (NYSE: NOK) and put my sim card in it and it works
