I got a sidekick 3 (unlocked) and I am using a t-mobile prepaid plan with it.

Since it is unlocked i know that? i know that it is not able to go on the internet and im and stuff but i am Still using T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) so shouldn't it let me??? i'm confused because i understand the whole "unlocking" thing pretty much...and maybe i'm repeating myself (i just really want to get my question threw) but I AM USING A TMOBILE PLAN even if it is prepaid!!! why won't it work? can someone plz help me out?

well, first of all you are absolutely correct-- you def should be able to use it!! Prepay account holders are the largest group to have sidekicks!! so, what you are going to want to make sure of, is that your prepay plan is set to the SIDEKICK rate plan -- as far as the "unlocked sidekick" deal..... well it's not able to be "unlocked".... maybe you mean "reset"?? As in you got it used or from a friend and they had to "unlock" or "ERASE" their info so you could use it?? either way, as long as it has had a Device ID Reset performed ((call T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) sidekick tech support to help with that)) and you have the SIDEKICK prepaid rate plan, it WILL work, i promise!!
