Default On my LG cingular phone, it shows no service in an area where I know there...
...is service.? My battery shows a full charge. It used to be that when this happened I could turn the phone off and then when I turned the phone back on, it would show "Cingular" on the display and have service, but this isn't working anymore. Anything I should try before I have to go to the AT&T store? Thanks for your responses.

Do other Cingular phones still work properly there? There is a way of having some phones reset themselves to work with different towers, but mine doesn't have that feature and is not Cingular. Check your manual to see about that.

If power cycling did not get the service back, you need to call AT&T customer care. There may be an outage preventing the usage of your fon in that/those areas, therefore, power cycling will not do a thing. Call 800 331 0500
