Have you used both Verizon and Cingular? Who has better customer service?

I've only used Verzion so far and have loved them. Their customers service is amazing.

I am considering switching since they no longer sell with Radio Shack. I was just wondering if you have used both and how the customer service compares.

Any other info is also appreciated.

The reason I'm thinking about it is because they don't work with Radio Shack. The guy that runs the Verizon (NYSE: VZ) store is awful to deal with, I don't like the warranty, etc. I've really liked using Radio Shack, their service plan, etc. which is why I would consider switching.

I was told that I have 30 days to try Cingular and then go back if I don't like it. Would there be any problems if I did this with Verizon, left and went back? I have been with them for four years.

I would not switch because of the reasons you gave, Verizon (NYSE: VZ) in my opinion is much better now since they split from Radio Shack, they are much cheaper on price too.
