 AT&T or Cingular? Which is it? I know that there is a lot of confusion over the whole Cingular/AT&T merger, and it is pretty confusing. Read this link from Wikipedia to get a better understanding. AT&T Mobility - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Any change in service is not a result of the merger. The only thing that happened during the merger is a name change from Cingular to AT&T.
