| Sorry . Cingular and T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) both use GSM network. They both require sim cards on the back of their phones. However each cell phone company have their own phones that are locked specifically to their network brand so that you can use it on another cell phone carrier. There is a way around this. You can buy a "unlocked GSM phone" that you can use with any network (Cingular, T-Mobile, Nextel). All you have to do is to put your sim card into the phone and it will work. The phone has to be "Unlocked". You can search for many unlocked GSM phones online through ebay. If you can find a sidekick ID that is unlocked online then you can use that phone with Cingular. |
