 What is the best phone for texting within the list of AT&T/Cingular compatible phones? I am looking to buy my girlfriend a phone that is great for texting because she had really wanted the Verizon (NYSE: VZ) EnV but has a cingular plan. And since EnV could never work with the SIM card based cingular phones, I thought I'd look for the next best thing. How much it cost is not a huge concern for me. I was thinking not much more than $300 though. Also, if there is a SIM card type phone out there that's great for texting and I could get it unlocked for Cingular, that would be an option as well. I hope someone can point me towards some phones. Thanks for the help  |

| I have a BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Pearl and it is great. You can get one on Ebay for about $300 and they are made for Cingular. |
