Unlocked Rogers Iphone, will it work now that Telus has Iphones?

My old Rogers (NYSE: RCI) Iphone has been unlocked and is not linked to any contract. Now that Telus (NYSE: TU) is coming out with Iphones will I be able to stay with Telus on my 3 year contract with my BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) but just use my Iphone instead?
