Hi,
I bought the 'CECT P168 Dual SIM Touch Screen GSM PDA Cell Phone (iPhone Clone)' in China last month and now have it here in Canada. I want to use it with a carrier here in Canada (maybe Telus) but don't know what steps to take from here.

Do I need a SIM card first? Does the phone need to be unlocked first? Is it already unlocked - how can I tell? Is it legal to use here in Canada? If it is unlocked, should I look for a SIM card from another cell phone instead?

Any help would be appreciated,

The phone is already unlock all you need to do is put the Sim card in slot one and make sure you insert the correct way. If you do not get service at once take the sim card out and take a dry cloth and wipe the metal off and insert it back in the phone.
