What is the best pre paid service tracfone or virgin Mobile or any others??

please help! hi i am about to get my first phone and it hast to be pre paid. what is the best servise i found a tracfone that is only 50 dollars and comes with dovle minutes for life is that a good choise??? or maybe virgin mobile???? or eny others looking for a realy chep ones with desent phones and that the minutes dont expire for like 2 months or so. is my first phone and i dont think i will be using it a lot but i might like to text. i dont know. please help i need it before shool starts again!!! HELP!

The key if you buy either a Net10 or a Tracfone is to buy the phone that comes with a minute package. Often you get a free phone when you purchase a minute card in the Phones section of the Tracfone web site. Check out the Tracfone Mistakes article in my signature.
