 Can the Motorola Tracfone be activated with T MOBILE? Reply to Thread Tracfone will not unlock the phone to use on T-Mobile. However in some parts of the country T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) is the underlying GSM carrier. You can call Trac an ask for a T-mobile coded SIM card. Check this website: Determine which carrier Tracfone will use for your coverage area. here's the scoop: Here is what the different market codes mean. GSM4 - You will get AT&T GSM5 - You will get T-Mobile GSM5AT - You will get T-Mobile or AT&T If you want T-Mobile coverage why not get T-mobile? I have both. My Trac was used primarily as a digital camera.  |
