For my 8th grade graduation, i get a a cell phone. But my mom and dad said it is just the type of phone that comes FREE with the contract, they won't pay a dime for the phone itself. We have a family plan with unlimited texting and that is all i know. What kind of phone would come with that for FREE?

It depends on what phone you get. I just opened a phone contract with my parents, and we have unlimited texting, also. My brother got the Samsung Behold for free. And there's a lot of good phones out there that you can get for FREE, if you just get the right plan.
See, the thing is, when you buy a certain plan, you sort of get these points and you can use them to pay for you phone, without you actually paying, since it's already in your contract/bill, get it?
By getting my texting plan and internet plan, I got 250 points, meaning I could get a phone up to that much value.
