Best US Cellular Phone with tether option?

I am a first time cell phone customer..I just signed a plan with US Cellular. I am needing a cell phone that can give me internet access with my Laptop when I'm off campus, I heard that I must get a SmartPhone...Does anyone have suggestions as to the best SmartPhone with Tethering from US Cellular?
