Which US Cellular phone is the best as compared to the other? What is the best...

...value, etc.? I've been looking to get a new phone. My current phone is an LG UX380 and I think it's an okay phone even though I've been having problems with it lately.
My two phone options are either the Samsung Gloss or the LG Rhythm. I like LG phones just fine, but the Rhythm is a little more than I wanted to pay. It seems like a great phone with features that I would use, though.
The Gloss caught my attention by its QWERTY keyboard and interesting design. One of my relatives recently got a Samsung Two Step and I wasn't too fond of its menu and its inability to use the ring tones that you load onto the microSD card. I'm pretty sure that the Gloss will have the same type of menu, which I can live with. The ring tones thing bugs me, but I can live with it also and find ways around that.

I was wondering if anyone could help me make a decision or give me more information on both of the phones. Even if you have one of these phones and just want to share your opinions on that phone, it would probably help me out a ton.
