Problem with Yahoo Mobile Mail Alert for US Cellular phone.?

Ok I have set up a yahoo mobile mail account. I have US Cellular as a provider and when I enter my number is asks for the provider. I choose not listed because US Cellular is not listed. It tells me to enter the conformation code sent to me in a sms text. I never receive one. Does Yahoo mobile mail alerts support US Cellular or am I doing something wrong?
