US CELLULAR?!? my mom and i share a cell phone plan...I am the 2nd line and I would really like to drop and go to boost mobile.... what I am wondering is, is there a charge if I leave her plan? can you explain how you know this... and if you could guess, how much would it be? thanks!

Ps. it is a two year contract and I know I recently had to renew my part of it to get a new phone in like may of this year... so Im guessing if I got a new phone out of it i definately would have to pay something to drop. but im not sure how they would do that if Im just another added line.

Most companies charge about $175 bucks for early termination of a phone line..

Just call customer service for US Cellular, they'll be able to tell you a lot faster and with probably with more accuracy than someone could on here.

But most cell phone companies do charge a penalty for dropping a 2nd line.
