...get my own phone aned join that plan for free. my parents wont pay anymore for another phone. if i never called and only texted, how could i get that for free with out adding 10 or 12 bucks to the phone bill. i could pay for the phone itself.

it still is going to cost an additional amount of money to add a line...even if you don't talk on the phone..since you don't mind paying for the phone, ask your parents if you can pay them the difference of the bill every month..but you know the best thing to do is to just call them and see exactly how much it will cost
