If I call a us cellular phone and it states this number is no longer in service?

 If I call a us cellular phone and it states this number is no longer in service? Called a friend and now the phone is saying Thank you for calling US Cellular this number is no longer in service. Does it mean its disconnected, changed or prepaid. Just want to know before I pop up at someone house unannounced.  |

 Re: I was wondering the same thing. I was talking with a friend tonight when the phone disconnected. When I tried calling her back, I got the "You have reached US Cellular. This number is no longer in service." Maybe she didnt pay her bill and they temporarily disconnected her... I will let you know what we find out... |
