Verizon wireless unlocked cell phone?

could i buy a chocolate or just any Verizon (NYSE: VZ) phone and use it with tmobile?

No, and heres why i going to try and explain it.

Verizon uses a CDMA Network (They dont use sim cards)

T-mobile uses a GSM Network (They DO use sim cards)

Verizon phones can only be used with verizon, and can NEVER be unlocked.

However GSM Phones (Phones that use SIm Cards) such as T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) and Cingular (At&t) their phones CAN be unlocked to be used interchangeably.

A Sim card is that little tiny chip normally behind the back of the battery pack, and for T-mobile it looks white with a Pink T, and Cingular(At&t) looks blue and sometimes has a 3g logo on it, or the new At&t logo, hope this helps, i wanted to try and simplify it for you.

Nope Verizon (NYSE: VZ) uses cdma and T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) uses gsm so the sim card slot wouldnt be there

The LG Chocolate is availabe in the GSM version though, and you can use it on T-Mobile. It is unlocked and unbranded.
