i have alltel as my provider, but i like verizon cell phones.?

if i get a Verizon (NYSE: VZ) phone(motorola razr max ve), can i activate it with alltel? because both work with same technology.

It depends on the kind of network that the phone is designed for. If it's a GSM phone, for example, and Alltell has a GSM network, you theoretically should be able to use it. But I would check with Alltell. Chances are that Motorola (NYSE: MOT) has made another phone that has essentially the same characteristics as the phone you want, but which will work on Alltell.
