Default Cell phone, Verizon enV1 problem, speaker....?

okay so the other day, out of the blue, when i made a call i realized that i could not hear the person i was talking to. yes the in call volume was up. So then i tested it out and i found not only can i not hear people in calls on my phone, but they also cant hear me. It makes the phone useless...

However yesterday i was messing around with the TTY setting and found i can make either the hearing part in call work. or the talking part work by changing this setting. but i cannot make both work at the same time... PLEASE help?

ok first of all DO NOT GET Verizon (NYSE: VZ) WIRELESS. I currently have Verizon and i am not very pleased. I know the phones are nice and have nice features but they are crap. I have an lg chocolate and it randomly turns off by itself. Its been like this ever since I got it. I even got it replaced and it's still the same. All my friends that have Verizon also say that their phones turn off like that. Plus this company is way too expensive. and it sux that i have a 2 year contract. I can get a different company in august, cant wait! Goin to Boost Mobile.

Something like this happened to me.

I needed to always put someone on speaker phone to hear them. And if that doesn't work. Then your sound is jacked up. I would get a new phone lol

I think maybe you could've damaged it somehow
