Verizon Wireless cell phone upgrade?

I'm on a family plan that cost like 200$ per month. We got out phones last december and signed a 2 year contract. my birthdat is coming up this december, and it's only been one year since we signed our contract can i get the discounted upgrade cost or do i have to pay bullshit retail of like 400 fucking dollars?? please help

You can't get a discount because your two year contract isn't up. in order to get one the two year contract has to be renewed after the two years.
