Default Can you trade phones in a verizon cell phone family plan?
My mom and brother get upgrades but I do not since I got my phone at a different time. My mom wants my phone and I wanted the upgrade. Is it possible for us to switch phones online? Thanks!

I did that exact same thing when I broke my phone. They can give you instructions for online but the account holder has to have a my account just call them. 1-800-922-0204 and tell them that you want to swap phones. They may have to talk to your mom to make sure you are not tryin to rip her off or anything like that. And it has to be 24 after the phone was purchesed.

Not online and probably not over the phone. Go to any Verizon (NYSE: VZ) store or retail outlet and they can do it for you. They put through an ESN change/swap and then reprogram the phones (over the air with *228). It's really quick. You MIGHT be able to convince them to do it over the phone, but I doubt it.
