I dont want to lose my number...but Verizon (NYSE: VZ) be expensive....

Verizon is Way expensive dude! UM they might charge you 5 bucks but no more. If they charge more than that, threaten them with a lawyer. Try metro. If they have it in your area or your cable provider like sure west depending on where you are.

Yes most cell phone companies will let you keep your number. Once you've picked one, call them and ask just to be sure, but I know T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) will allow you to.
