 you cannot buy an "unlocked" phone because the only phones that you can get unlocked are GSM networks phones. which do not work with verizons CDMA network. you can try flashing Sprint (NYSE: S) phones to verizon..what you are trying to do is like making a home phone work as a cell phone.  |

| u can call verizons customer care and see how u go about transferring ur phone number to another Verizon (NYSE: VZ) cell u tell them sumone gave it to u...if its a verizon phone and u dont owe money they will transferr ur number to that phone |

| verizon dosen't use simcards it's cdma i'm not sure if u will be able to do that! |
