What will I and won't I be charged for on my Verizon cell phone?

Hey. I'm 15 years old and just bought the enV2. I am on my dad's Verizon (NYSE: VZ) plan so I don't want to run up the bill. I do have unlimited texting. What I am wondering is just how much I can or cannot do using my enV2. I know there is a GPS feature but it costs money (I love how they left that part out on the phone description), and same goes for games, ringtones, and VCast extras. I was exploring all of my phone's features today (being careful not to buy anything), but later on my sister told me it costs money to use the internet on my phone. Like checking my e-mail, or even BROWSING VCAST?! Is that true? Because NOWHERE on my phone did it warn me about that. How many hidden costs could they have? That's seriously not right if that's the way they do it... And what about taking/sending videos/pictures? My grandma told me that if I have unlimited it is free to send pictures and isn't sure about videos. Does it cost 1 text (So since I have unlimited, Free?) or does it actually cost a certain amount? I am lost. Does VCast cost money just to LOOK at? What about checking my e-mail? Sending a video/picture text? Any other hidden fees? This is getting me mad... getting a cell phone was supposed to be more fun

ok if you have a premium plan your fine.. but if you dont it will charge you a data call on the vcast... but it will tell you before you hit accept if you didnt get this msg then you will be fine...
as for the internet you need to call customer service and ask what all you have

i am a Verizon (NYSE: VZ) worker...

i have been thru 6 env2s in less than a mth and an half.. i had my first alias and i had it for over a year.. (april 07 to may08) then i got the env2 since i loved the looks.. omg that was a mistake (may 08 to the first week of july 08) i had 6 env2s.. and then i begged my manager to get me out of it.. so i got my glyde and i love mine and i have put this lil phone thru hell.. i even dropped it on rocks a couple of times... and it didnt even scratch it...

now ok you wanna a POS phone get the voyager or the dare....

lol the voyagers and dares screen will break since it is a pressure screen..you have to press the screen and after a while the screan will not recognize the pressure and you have to press harder and harder until it just busts one day... and LG or verizon will not cover it ...

the glyde goes by the electricity in your fingers so it is smoother and even after the update on 08/02/2008 it is 30 times better and it has Youtube support as well now

i love my glyde...

it is pretty funny at how the samsung glyde just came out and they already have an update not even 3 mths after the phone came out... they listen to their customers

Lg has had the voyager out for almost a year now and they still use the excuse our products are great. lol they even tried to pull that over my head when my first env2 broke.. i had to call LG and tell them because i was the first person ever to report a problem with the env2.

lol but i see this phone as well as the dare coming in everyday for freaking problems


and the dare i have sold 21 of them and they all have came back

Basiclly you have to pay for everything. You have to pay for the internet, so you have to pay for VCast to. Or if you want to look for ringtones or games, that cost money to. To buy ringtones or games costs money also. SInce you have unlimited TEXTING you cant send pictures or videos without it costing money. So really, only calling (which takes minutes) and texting are free.
Sucks, i know.
