Default What will happen to Alltel prepaid and regular cell phones when Verizon takes over?
I searched for quite some time on Google (NSDQ: GOOG) and couldn't find my answer.

Will someone with Alltel prepaid (and regular) cell phones still be able to use them when Verizon (NYSE: VZ) takes over Alltel at the end of the year?

I personally haven't heard that they are taking them over. but that doesn't mean they aren't. The same thing will happen when Cingular took over AT&T. The ones already with a plan will be able to still use it until their contract is up then forcing them to either choose another plan that Verizon (NYSE: VZ) offers or go to another cell phone company. Those for Prepaid users they will automatically be forced to use Verizon's prepaid plan or switch to another carrier
