Can someone tell where you are from a verizon cell phone/number?

Is it possible that my x husband can tell where I am from my Verizon (NYSE: VZ) cell phone?

If you Google (NSDQ: GOOG) the area code 3 digits with the words area code he will be able to get close.
If you google the area code and the first 3 numbers and the word prefix, it will give a much closer location to where your cell number is based.

examples:
123 area code
123-456 prefix

You may have to search a bit through the google results but the location is in there.
Remember, the results show where the cell number is based or where it was purchased, not its present location.
This all is more exact if you do it for land lines.

i also agree with tanya s but there is also caller id which only tells you their numeber but you can also tell where they are from by looking at the zip code

It depends on the phone. The phones that have GPS, it is possible. You can turn the feature off tho if you want, but you would have to turn it on any time you want to use the GPS.
