About 4 hours ago I switched from Sprint Cell phone service to Verizon....

...They worked it out where my number...? remained the same.
While the new Verizon (NYSE: VZ) phone was being activated, I got 2 missed voicemail messages on my Sprint (NYSE: S) phone.
Since my new verizon phone got activated, I cannot access the Sprint message at all.
I tried calling both Verizon and Sprint and they both claim there is NO way to retrieve the messages.
Does anyone know of any way to retrieve these messages?
I just have a had time believing that after only 4 hours I can no longer get the messages of my Sprint phone.
