Well you have to understand that Verizon (NYSE: VZ) uses CDMA Network. That means their cell phones don't use any sim cards and only good here in the United States. The majority of international countries uses GSM network which requires the use of sim cards like A T&T and T-Mobile. For this reason, Verizon may have good services here in the United States but for traveling overseas it is the GSM network (A T&T) that can do more in other countries.
