...but what happen to cingular? ok my mom probably will change cellphone company but i been wondering for the past 4 months what happen to Cingular? well is you could add what do you have and why do you like it and how much do you pay for how many phone and dose it include text and internet and calling, it would be helpful!!!

Cingular was bought by AT&T ... everybody who had Cingular got to keep their phones, numbers and plans, the only thing that changed was the company name basically ... it didn't really affect the users.

I have AT&T (aka Cingular)

I have a simple 450 minute plan with a smart phone plan added because I have a BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) (unlimited data and unlimited text $30 extra/month). I pay around $100/month. I used to have Sprint (NYSE: S) but I switched back to AT&T because Sprint has the worst service ever and they are very rude and shady.

I would go with AT&T any day ...

cingular is now at&t and i have it and i have the at&t quickfire.my dad pays like $85 its $50 for my minutes $20 for unlimited texting and $15 for unlimited internet

At&T bought out Cingular. Thats what I used to have and now I have at&t. My plan is a family plan with 4 lines its about 90 dollars. Then we have unlimited family texting for 30 dollars, so our total bill is 120. Oh and we have 750 minutes fr that.

I dont know the other stuff, but Cingular merged with AT&T, so now its just called AT&T
