 Help! Porting Cricket cell phone number to Verizon? My mom is getting me a line on her family share plan with Verizon (NYSE: VZ) because it's cheap and I can't pay my Cricket bill anymore. I NEED to keep my number. Can Cricket not allow me to port my number to Verizon if I have bills overdue? I've tried adding a new line to Verizon once already and porting the number, but absolutely nothing changed. Will I have to pay off all my overdue Cricket garbage before I can port the number?  |

| Yes, you need to pay off Cricket all of the money due before they will release that number. That is just how it goes.
