Does virgin mobile phones work with yahoo or msn messenger?

I have a Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) phone and i want to get msn and yahoo messengers on my phone so i can communicate by way of IM when I am not at home and text messaging isnt always that convenient because like an email you have to keep opening a new window and then replying it just gets annoying...so if I could have some answers that would be great thanks guys!

if your mobile is WAP enabled then it should be quite easy to get messenger on your fone. use the internet that your fone gives you to go 2 yahoo.com and when there select messenger. this should enable you 2 get it on ur fone.
