Default can i reactivate a activated virgin mobile phone?

i found this UTStarcom (NSDQ: UTSI) arc Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) phone and i bought a charger and i turned it on and it works, i tried to activate it online but it said it was already activated, can i activate it?

Mandy,

Sounds like you found a lost phone. As long as that phone is registered as lost or stolen in our system, you will not be able to activate it. You should really try to return it to the person who lost it. You can dial 611 from it to reach our care team who can assist with getting it back to it's owner.

Hey, who knows? Maybe the person who lost it already activated a new phone, and might let you keep it? Worth a try.
